Sports & wellbeing

We believe that a healthy and active lifestyle is an integral part of education. Our sports programme contributes to wellbeing while providing an exciting competitive edge. Our pupils have numerous opportunities to represent the school in district and county events and competitions, with extensive grounds and facilities allowing us to host competitive fixtures at the highest level.

Sports

Netball, football, swimming, gymnastics, cricket, basketball, volleyball, hockey, badminton, tennis, athletics, rounders, dance, trampolining and fitness classes.

Wellbeing

For students looking to release energy or find a moment of calm, we offer activities such as meditation club and yoga.

The Arts: Music, Drama & Visual Arts

The arts are central to our mission to build confidence and shine a light on different skills. We provide specialist spaces and expert guidance for girls to develop their creative talents.

Music

Music plays a vital role in school and we have a hub of talent. We host various concerts and special musical performances throughout the academic year. We also have an Orchestra/Ensemble Club, a Junior Choir Club, Senior Chamber Choir Club together with Junior & Senior Music Theory Clubs. There are also individual singing and instrument lessons available too.

Drama

Our Drama department hosts a range of exciting performance activities, including LAMDA lessons and an Infant & Junior Musical Theatre Club. Various year groups throughout the school collaborate to have annual dramatic and musical productions with additional rehearsal clubs.

Visual Arts

Our budding artists can enjoy learning how to paint, draw, design textiles and experience working with clay.

Adventurous & fun activities

For those with a spirit of adventure or a desire to try something new, we offer a variety of exciting clubs and trips.

Songwriting, crafting, debating, crochet, art, calligraphy and electronics club.

Student leadership & voice

We place a high value on student leadership and voice, encouraging pupils to get involved and shape the direction of the school. Girls are invited to participate in the School Student Council, and opportunities for Form and Sports Captain roles are plentiful. Many girls also volunteer in the local community, demonstrating a commitment to service.
